Tinashe Announces New Album 333 (Artwork, Tracklist & Release Date)

Tinashe reveals the new album “333” title, tracklist, and release date.

Tinashe has been giving us a lot of new material, the most recent “Bouncin” song & video, and now the Kentucky native has announced her new album “333“. After teasing the name yesterday, Tinashe has unveiled the official artwork for the project. Along with the Cover Art, she also revealed the tracklist which features 16 songs, including the latest single and “Pasadena” with Buddy.

The other guest appearances on the project will come from Jeremih, Kaytranada, Kaash Paige, and more. The fifth studio album of Tinashe will release on August 6th. Tinashe also announced that a new song will drop tonight at midnight and the album pre-order will be live.

Tinashe made history earlier this year when she became the first independent artist to appear for pictures inside Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit issue.

Tinashe also stated this week that she was meant to be on “Already Best Friends” with Jack Harlow, but the rapper cut her out and replaced her with Chris Brown. Tinashe previously released two additional album cuts, ‘Bouncin’ and ‘Pasadena,’ the latter of which was Tinashe’s first single of the year and a collaboration with rapper Buddy. They previously collaborated on his track “Glitch,” which was released in September 2020.

Along with Buddy, ‘333′ is expected to contain more collaborations, with Kaytranada, Jeremih, Kaash Paige, Wax Motif, Quiet Child, and Kudzai all slated to appear. ‘333′ is the follow-up to her 2019 album ‘Songs for You,’ which was published on her own Tinashe Music label.

Tinashe launched her 333 Tour to promote the record, with Rei Ami as the opening act. Several concerts sold out in less than a week after pre-sale and public tickets went on sale, necessitating the addition of more dates. In collaboration with Moment House, the concert tour will also be offered to a global audience as a livestream concert event, which will be the “unique digital tour experience” and promises to be “specially tailored for at-home fans across the world.”

“I’m glad that it’s noticeable because I certainly feel a big difference,” Tinashe tells GRAMMY about her transition to artistic independence. “But at the same time, there was a lot of uncertainty of not really knowing how people would react to my [new] music, not knowing where I was getting the budget for things I wanted to create, and just how everything was going to work.”

“Over the course of the last two years, there’s been a lot of growth for me,” she continues. “I really feel at peace with where I’m at in my career and excited about the fact that I’m able to make my own creative decisions. It’s empowering. I’m feeling a lot more inspired and joyful in alignment with what I’m meant to be doing.”
