The Weeknd continues his domination on Spotify as he now becomes the artist with the highest-ever monthly listeners in the platform’s history. The Weeknd has broken the record of Justin Bieber, and he now has a peak of 94.734 million monthly listeners on global Spotify.

This month, this is Abel’s second major Spotify achievement, as he recently earned the most streamed song on the platform. The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” broke Ed Sheeran’s “Shape Of You” record, as it now streamed 3.332 billion times on the platform.
Earlier this week, The Weeknd celebrated the one year of “Dawn FM” with the release of “Is There Someone Else?” music video.
