The Game Lists Top 10 Rappers Alive Feat. Eminem, Jay-Z & More

The Games names Eminem, Jay-Z, Nas, and more in his Top 10 Rappers Alive list.

The Game recently revealed his updated list of Top 10 Rappers alive where he doesn’t include himself. The West Coast rapper puts Jay-Z on top of his list, followed by Nas and Lil Wayne. Eminem is listed at number 4 on the list, and Kendrick Lamar manages to be in the Top 5. The legendary Snoop Dogg also features in the list at number sixth, followed by the Toronto rap star Drake. Then comes Andre 3000 at number 8, and Jermaine Cole and number 9th.

The necessity and desire for hip-hop fans to select and name their favourite acts, rappers, and producers is inherent in the genre. While similar discussions have stirred dispute in the past, most notably when Eminem published his own list of the 17 best rappers, The Game is not backing down from his endeavour. As expected, Jay-Z, Nas, and Eminem himself appear.

It’s worth noticing that Eminem who made on the list is right now under the radar of The Game. The Game is constantly criticizing Eminem, whenever he is on any podcast to promote his album “Drillmatic – Mind vs Heart.

The Game even said that Eminem music isn’t played in clubs anymore. Click here to know the whole story.

The only surprising name on the list was Lil Baby, who was featured in the 10th spot. At the end of the list, The Game says that he can go bar for bar with anybody on the list. Last year on the Nick Cannon Radio, Jay-Z, Eminem, and Nas also featured in The Game’s Top 5 Hip-Hop Artists of all-time list.

Justin Bieber joined the bandwagon earlier this year, offering his Top Five rappers of all time. The singer revealed his selection while speaking on DJ Khaled’s The First One podcast. His most recent album, “Justice,” was released last week. “You know, when you open this topic there’s always opportunity for, ‘Aw, he can’t believe this,’” Bieber said, realising the bag of worms he was possibly opening.

Best rapper lists have often caused controversy in the hip-hop community, especially when an MC shares their own personal list; The Game’s proven no different, based on the comments on his post.

The game begins with Snoop Dogg on the back end. Drake, Andre 3000, J. Cole, and everyone’s current fave, Lil Baby, are among the artists he praises. However, this rare light of humility didn’t last long. At the end of his article, Game stated that if any of these rappers ever wanted to engage in a lyrical sparring battle, he would be happy to go head to head with them.

The previous month, Eminem unveiled his list of the greatest rappers of all time, which included Lil Wayne, Tupac Shakur, Royce 5’9″, Jay-Z, Redman, Treach of Naughty by Nature, Kool G. Rap, The Notorious B.I.G., Kxng Crooked, LL Cool J, Nas, Joyner Lucas, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, André 3000, Rakim, and Big Daddy Kandi.

Snoop also revealed his list in August of 2020. Slick Rick, Ice Cube, LL Cool J, KRS-One, Rakim, Run from Run-DMC, Big Daddy Kane, Ice-T, and Too $hort were among his favorite rappers, he wrote on Instagram. Snoop Dogg mentioned that Em isn’t among his favorite rhymers before launching into his list. Eminem, according to Snoop, is unable to compete with rappers from the 1980s.

The Game is certain that Eminem isn’t better than him, and he wouldn’t mind going toe-to-toe with Shady in a duel of Verzuz classics.

On Friday, Game’s much-anticipated Drink Champs interview aired (March 4). Eminem’s name came up during the tipsy sit-down as a result of his recent Super Bowl performance. Chuck used the chance to flex his muscles a little “Eminem is Eminem,” Game said. “I like Eminem, he’s one of the f**king good MCs, great MCs. He raps fast. He do all that sh*t…I used to think Eminem was better than me. He not. He not. He’s not. Aye, challenge it.”

Snoop also released his list in August of 2020. He stated on Insta that his favorite rappers are Slick Rick, Ice Cube, LL Cool J, KRS-One, Rakim, Run from Run-DMC, Big Daddy Kane, Ice-T, and Too $hort. Prior to discussing his favorite rappers, Snoop Dogg mentioned that Em isn’t among them. Snoop said that Eminem cannot compete with 1980s rappers.
