Tech N9ne Shouts Out Eminem & Royce Da 5'9 on his New Song

Tech N9ne shouts out Eminem & Royce da 5’9″ on a new song.

After releasing ‘More Fear‘ in August, Tech N9ne released another new project called ‘Fear Exodus‘ a couple of days ago which has 8 tracks on it. The 3rd song called “I Think” featured Stevie Stone, JL, Joey Cool, King Iso, Krizz Kaliko, Jehry Robinson, Wrekonize, Bernz & Maez301 and it also got shouts out to Eminem and Royce da 5’9″ from Tech N9ne.

I think if your lips are running, thе blix are brung in / And I think if anybody f**k with Eminem or Royce, thе crips are coming / It’s what I think,” raps Tech N9ne.

In the song “I Think” Tech N9ne certainly acknowledged Eminem over his interview earlier this year. Eminem sat down with Kxng Crooked for an exclusive interview a few months ago to promote his then-new album, “Music To Be Murdered By.” Eminem mentioned Tech N9ne during the conversation at one point.

Fear Exodus is only 19 minutes long and opens with a short sketch before transitioning into tracks featuring Tech N9ne’s blazing and forceful flows. Perhaps one of the most notable highlights here is “I Think,” which contains 11 features and results in a song that is jam-packed with information.

Royce Da 5’9″ and you (Kxng Crooked) are the rappers that I get anxiety being on a song with because I am like man I gotta f**king push the pen. Rappers like Tech N9ne. He is so f**king proficient. He is so much like, man, he craps out every syllable, every single one, every f**king rhyme scheme. It is just like you are hearing twenty different things that rhyme with each other in succession.” quoted the Detriot Rapper.

Enterfear, a long album by Tech N9ne, was released. Following that, he released the EP More Fear, which elaborated on the themes of his April release. Now, the Kansas City rapper is back with Fear Exodus, the next instalment in the “Fear” series.

Em previously worked with Tech N9ne on “The Anthem” in 1999 and “Speedom” in 2015. Tech revealed in an August 2018 Instagram post that he and his producer were unaware that MGK was mocking Em on “No Reason.”
With the line “sub, machine gun,” Em employs double entendre to refer to both Machine Gun Kelly’s subliminal dissing of him and the sub-machine gun (SMG) weapon category. Tech N9ne’s moniker is also a reference to the TEC-9 semiautomatic weapon.

In an interview on Holdin Court Podcast, Tech reflected on how his rap peers embraced him as an artist. “I am just a small town country boy straight from Kansas City,” he said.” So keep in mind I was always the weirdo to everybody with red hair and a painted face. I couldn’t believe when I started doing sh*t like Paid Dues and Rock The Bells that Raekwon would come up to me like ‘I love your sh*t.’ and KRS-1… When I got put into “The Anthem” and I ran into Eminem and he knew me and all these motherf**kers knew me, I felt like I was just an odd man out, Ni**a. I didn’t know those ni**as were paying attention all these years. I didn’t know T.I. was in jail and the white boys there were playing my sh*t and he got up on my music. I didn’t know that f**king Wayne was listening to “Questions” on the “Gang Related” soundtrack. They tell me all these sh*t how they found out. I thought I was just an outcast ni**a that ni**as don’t f**k with because I was on Rock N Roll sh*t, here and there. I was on Gangster sh*t… Rock ‘N Roll sh*t… Hip-Hop sh*t. Gospel sh*t. Opera sh*t. Everything.”

“It’s also a weird thing man that when people mention Eminem, they mention my name with it when it comes to lyrics man this is a weird thing because I just been doing me, I ain’t trying to sound like nobody… trying to do nothing like nobody. We rap fast but we don’t sound nothing like Bones, Twista… We don’t sound like Eminem. We sound like ourselves.”
