TDE's Reason Says Fabolous is Better Rapper Than Andre 3000, Would Beat Him In Verzuz

TDE’s Reason claims Fabolous can out-rap Andre 3000.

Andre 3000 is one of the GOATs of Hip-Hop, and the Atlanta legend has influenced many in the game. Even though he hasn’t been much active in the music scene, but still gave us one of the best verses of last year on Kanye West’s “Life of the Party” single, which received praise from the fans and fellow artists.

Now TDE’s Reason recently had an interview with Van Latham and Rachel Lindsay, where he was asked about Fabolous and Andre 3k. “You say Fabolous is better than Andre 3000?” asks Latham. “In my opinion, yes, Fabolous is a better rapper than Andre 300.” “See, I was gonna say, just for fun, can we go ahead and line them up,” says Rachel. “I would love something like that [Verzuz],” responds Reason. “But I feel like if you lined up Fabolous and Andre 3000, I got my money on Fab. That’s how I feel.”

Latham replies, “I’m not about to hate on Fab, but Goddamn that boy from Atlanta is a monster Reason. Hey Reason, c’mon. We love Fab. I love Fab. You know damn well Three Stacks is…” Then the TDE rapper interrupts, “That’s the thing. I don’t know. [Fab] out-raps Wayne. If you can out-rap Wayne, you can out-rap Andre 3000. He’s out-rapped Wayne on records. I don’t think, if they line up, if they do a 6-minute record. I’m not saying that it’s easy for Fab, but I think if Fab came in with the mindset of ‘I want the best verse,’ I think Fab can out-rap Andre 3000 on that Verse.”

During their tenure, Outkast created probably Hip Hop’s most explosive album trifecta: 1994’s Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik, 1996’s ATLiens, and 1998’s Aquemini. They were not only commercial hits, but they also solidified Big Boi and André 3000’s rap legend.

But the Southern pair was only getting started. Stankonia debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with over 525,000 units sold in its first week, earning two Grammy Awards for Best Rap Album and Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group for “Ms. Jackson.”

Reason then shared the interview clip on his Twitter and wrote, “We need a Fab vs Andre versuz. Verses only! I got fab! Somebody hand me the aux!”
