TDE's Ab-Soul Teases JAY-Z Collaboration On Upcoming Herbert Album

Ab-Soul links up with JAY-Z ahead of the “Herbert” album.

Ab-Soul is all set to drop his fifth studio album “Herbert” on December 16th, which will be his first project in 6 years, following up on 2016’s “Do What Thou Wilt.”

Ahead of the album release, the rapper teases a huge collaboration, with none other than legendary JAY-Z. The Los Angeles rapper shared a picture with Hov from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York City. “SOUL DID,” he wrote, referencing Jay-Z’s verse on DJ Khaled’s “GOD DID” album.

Top Dawg Entertainment then shared the same picture with “Hov x Soulo” in the caption. TDE founder Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith also teased the collab and wrote: “Ab-Soul asked me to connect him with Hov ….. aye soul did u do ur part ? I guess we will find out when the album drop …. Y’all think he got it ?”

The rapper from Carson has released many singles in 2022, including “Hollandaise,” “Moonshooter,” “Do Better” with Zacari, and “Gang’Nem” with Fre$H. It is unknown if any of these songs will be included on his next album.
