Suge Knight Says Tupac Was Killed By Someone Else After Police Arrested Duane Keefe D Davis

Suge Knight opens up on Tupac Shakur’s murder.

Suge Knight weighs in on Police arresting Duane “Keefe D” Davis for first-degree murder in connection with Tupac Shakur’s murder in 1996. Earlier this week, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department arrested a member of the South Side Compton Crips gang in connection to the legendary rapper’s murder.

Now in a conversation with TMZ from Prison, Suge Knight states that he won’t testify against Keefe D, as he think someone else killed 2Pac in 1996. “I didn’t think Keefe D would ever get arrested. Nor do I want to see him get arrested,” Suge told TMZ. “Let’s get one thing straight first and foremost. Me and Keefe D played on the same Pop Warner football team. Whatever circumstances, if he had involvement in anything, if he didn’t have involvement in anything, I wouldn’t wish somebody going to prison on my worst enemy.”

“I’ll tell you this. I never had nothing bad to say about Orlando. No. 1, he wasn’t the shooter,” he added. “No. 2, he came to my hearing and told to let me go and told the truth. They still didn’t let me go… It wasn’t Anderson, that’s all I have to say about that part.”

Keefe D was taken into custody by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department on Sept. 29 and he has been indicted for murder with the use of a deadly weapon with the intent to assist the criminal street gang, the Southside Compton Crips.

According to police reports, the shooting occurred as an act of retribution for Orlando Anderson, Keefe D’s nephew and fellow member of the Southside Compton Crips, being attacked by Tupac, Suge Knight, and their entourage at the MGM Grand on September 7, 1996. In response to this assault, Keefe acquired a firearm. Subsequently, Keefe D, Anderson, Terrance Brown, and Deandre Smith located Tupac and Suge at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Kovall Lane where they opened fire on their vehicle. Tragically, the rapper sustained fatal injuries from the deadly attack and then passed away on September 13th of that year.

Tupac Amaru Shakur, who died at the age of 25, is widely considered as one of the most influential and successful rappers of all time. The rapper is among the best-selling music artists, having sold more than 75 million records worldwide.
