Spotify Reveals 2022 Wrapped Top Global Artists, Songs, Albums Lists Bad Bunny Dominates

Spotify has unveiled the much-awaited 2022 wrapped and the year-end lists of the top artists and songs on their platform. In the 2022 Wrapped, fans will receive end-of-year thank-you videos from some of their 2022 top artists, with each video followed up by their most listened song from that artist this year. Spotify has expanded the number of artists involved from about 100 in 2021 to more than 40,000 in 2022.

Bad Bunny, the Puerto Rican superstar has dominated the charts and streaming platforms throughout this year, and he is named the top global artist on the platform in 2022.

With more than 18.5 billion streams in 2022, Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny is ranked first among Spotify’s most-played global artists. The rapper also rules Spotify’s yearly albums chart, making him the first performer to lead the list three years in a row.

He is followed by Taylor Swift in the number two spot, and Drake in third. The Weeknd is the fourth most streamed artist on the platform, followed by Korean group BTS on number fifth.

Harry Styles topped the list of most streamed songs globally with his hit “As It Was” which appeared on his third studio album “Harry’s House”. The second on the list is Glass Animals’ “Heat Waves”, The Kid LAROI’s “Stay” with Justin Bieber on third, Bad Bunny’s “Me Porto Bonito” on fourth and “Titi Me Preguto” on fifth.

Bad Bunny also topped the list of most streamed albums globally with his fourth solo studio album “Un Verano Sin Ti”. Harry Styles’ “Harry’s House” is second, Olivia Rodrigo’s “SOUR” on third, Ed Sheeran’s “=” on fourth and Doja Cat’s last year’s project “Planet Her” is fifth.
