Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, E-40 & Too Short Previews 14 Tracks From Mount Westmore Album

Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, E-40 & Too Short teases “Mount Westmore” album tracks.

As announced, the Mount Westmore album is dropping on June 7th, and before that the tracks have been previewed. Mount Westmore is a group of legendary West Coast rappers Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, E-40 & Too Short, and they recently joined forces on the music video called “Bad MF’s“, with production from DJ Battlecat and Jermaine Dupri.

The hip-hop group of the four rap icons was formed in early 2020, and they were supposed to release their debut album at the end of last year, but it got pushed back. The four icons have now previewed the songs off their Death Row Records debut album, through the Gala Music website.

The name Mount Westmore comes from a group of iconic West Coast rap musicians. In 2020, the quartet made their debut with the song “Step Child.” Snoop Dogg’s 2021 Def Jam compilation album, Snoop Dogg Presents Algorithm, included the group with the song “Big Subwoofer.” In 2021, Mount Westmore released a third song, “Bad MFs.”

It is revealed that the project will have 14 tracks, but there’s no sign of the highly anticipated Eminem collaboration “From Detroit To LBC”. Snoop Dogg talked about the joint on several occasions, and it was supposed to be part of the album. “There is Snoop Dogg and Eminem song on my Westmore album. It is called ‘From Detroit to the LBC’,” he said in an interview previously. “That’s my Mount Westmore album that is coming out in January and Eminem and Snoop single is featured on there. And that motherf**ker slapped. That s**t is huh… It was very challenging for me. Eminem really f**king shot at me. He shot his shot and as a rapper that’s what you want when you get a feature, to have to work you f**king a*s off. He is going that hard because he knows I’m going to match him on the same level and that’s what it is when you make records with people that you love. It’s competitive but for the right reason. To bring the best out of each other.”
