Royce da 5'9, Joe Budden Talks About Snoop Dogg & Eminem Feud

NORE says “we don’t need Snoop Dogg & Eminem rap battle.”

Royce da 5’9″, Joe Budden, NORE, Daz Dilliner, and more connected on the ClubHouse where they talk about the recent Snoop Dogg and Eminem situation which is heating up. They speak on how their feud is bad for the culture.

On Clubhouse, Royce Da 5’9″, N.O.R.E., Daz, Joe Budden, and others discussed the ins and outs of the current conflict, as well as Snoop and Em’s connection leading up to it. During their talk, Daz claimed that he believes the animosity began when Snoop invited Em to appear on one of his albums, which Em reportedly declined.

I got a question for Daz and NORE,” asks Akino. “We know Eminem and Snoop Dogg beef is bad for the culture, but style-wise, what do you think about that type of battle? Would you be interested in Snoop versus Em?

Hell no,” says NORE. “The history is too deep man. Motherf**ers are grown, men. We don’t need a rap battle at this point. Hell no. I just don’t wanna see Eminem and f**king Snoop Dogg cause of their relationship. That’s like step-children fighting. They both from the same linear. They come from the same f**king person that made Eminem great and a person who made Snoop great.

Em opened up about Snoop’s “disrespectful” comments on a recent airing of his Shade 45 show. “I think it was more about the tone he was using that caught me off-guard ’cause I’m like, where is this coming from? I just saw you, what the f**k? It threw me for a loop,” he explained. “I probably could’ve gotten past the whole tone and everything, but it was the last statement where he said, ‘Far as music I can live without, I can live without that sh*t.’ Now you’re being disrespectful. It just caught me off-guard.”

Most Hip Hop fans don’t want to see Eminem and Snoop Dogg have a dispute at this point in their careers. Both performers are music icons whose careers were launched by Dr. Dre, and they’ve been pals for a long time and never seemed to have a problem. Snoop’s words during a recent interview rubbed the Detroit emcee the wrong way, and the situation quickly escalated.
