Rod Wave Drops New Single & Video Stone Rolling; Releasing Beautiful Mind Album Next Month

Rod Wave’s new album “Beautiful Mind” dropping next month.

Rod Wave makes his return to the music scene as he releases a brand new song called “Stone Rolling”. The song is produced by SephGotTheWaves, TnTXD & Geo Vocals, and it is his first offering since “Cold December” which was dropped earlier this year.

“I spent some time in Carolina, spent time in Tennessee / It’s there, havin’ 4G, where can I go to get some peace? / I wanna settle with my kids, buy a crib by the beach / No more Percs to ease to pain and no more drank to go to sleep, yeah,” he raps.

Rod Wave uploaded the song “Nirvana” in December, soon before he deleted all of his social media accounts. Fans were concerned about his mental health and wellbeing as a result of the lyrics and his abrupt departure.

“If you’re hearing this it’s too late/I’ve been writin’ this since Tuesday, today Friday that means tomorrow’s doomsday,” he said on the track. ”Tried to fight the pain but it ate me alive/Sad to say I lost a battle, against my mind/You should be happy for me homie no more sufferin’/We all got a day I guess we’ll see each other then/I hope that heaven’s real and one day we can reunite/And don’t be crying for me I lived a wonderful life,” he continued.

The track is off his long-awaited new album “Beautiful Mind” which was supposed to drop in June. The project now has a new release date, as the Florida rapper reveals that the album will be released on August 12th. The rapper has also unveiled the official cover art for the project.

Beautiful Mind, Rod Wave’s 24-track follow-up to 2021’s platinum-certified Soulfly, will be released on August 12. The album includes his already-platinum smash “By Your Side” as well as his gold single “Cold December,” the latter of which marks his 20th Billboard Hot 100 entry.
