The Projected First Week Sales Of Drake & 21 Savage's New Album Her Loss

Drake and 21 Savage to earn Billboard 200 Top Spot next week.

Drake and 21 Savage finally released their new joint album “Her Loss” this week, and the projected first-week numbers for the project are here. According to HDD, the project is expected to move 335-350K equivalent units in the first week, which includes 425-450 million streams.

The project featured 16 tracks with a lone guest appearance from Travis Scott. Drizzy is making headlines for throwing shots at so many celebrities, which include the likes of Kanye West, Megan Thee Stallion, DRAM, Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian, Ice Spice and more.

He even hinted at reigniting his feud with Kanye West by suggesting their 2021 reconciliation was only to please Rap-A-Lot Records CEO J. Prince.
However, one of the most significant topics of discussion from the album was when Drake insinuated that Megan Thee Stallion may have lied about Tory Lanez shooting her. “This bi**h lie about getting shots, but she still she a stallion/ She don’t even get the joke, but she still smiling,” he raps on “Circo Loco.”

While Travis Scott is the only artist featured on the 16-track album, other notable names that contributed to the composition include Metro Boomin, Lil Yachty, Noah “40” Shebib, Boi-1da, and others.

Meanwhile, the album had a huge opening day on Spotify as it was streamed 98 million times on the platform. It now becomes the fourth-highest opening day for a hip-hop album in Spotify History. The top two are Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy” and “Scorpion”, while the third spot is grabbed by Kendrick Lamar with “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers“.

This follows up Drizzy’s most recent solo album “Honestly, Nevermind” which topped the charts with 204,000 album-equivalent units. Her Loss is now expected to be Drake’s twelfth number-one album in the US. 21 Savage hasn’t dropped a solo project since 2018’s “I Am > I Was”, while he teamed up with Metro Boomin in 2020 for “Savage Mode II“.
