Post Malone Misses Top Spot On Billboard 200 With New Album Twelve Carat Toothache

Post Malone’s new album “Twelve Carat Toothache” debuts at #2 on Billboard 200.

Post Malone made his return with his long-awaited fourth studio album “Twelve Carat Toothache”, which is his first album in three years and a follow-up to 2019’s “Hollywood’s Bleeding”. The first week numbers for the project are in, and it his first album since his debut effort “Stoney”, which failed to get a top spot on the US Charts.

As projected, the album moved 121,000 equivalent units, which is a 75.2 per cent sales drop from his previous album “Hollywood’s Bleeding” which topped the charts with 489,000 in the first week. The album debuted at number 2 on the US Billboard 200 chart, losing the top spot of Bad Bunny’s “Un Verano Sin Ti”, which was released five weeks ago.

Post Malone acknowledged in a January interview with Billboard that chart success no longer concerns him.
“You think about everything at the same time, and it’s f**king overload,” he said. “There’s a lot riding on the music. There’s a lot riding on just being able to keep making songs. And that’s hard to do because you’re like, ‘F**k — I already talked about everything.’ And you kind of run out of ideas, and that’s scary sh*t.”
