On this day 10 years ago, Eminem made his comeback with the iconic track “Not Afraid“. The song was released as the lead single of his Grammy-winning album “Recovery“. The song was produced by Eminem & Boi-1da. According to Eminem’s manager Paul Rosenberg and a lot of music critics, ‘Not Afraid‘ carries a positive message and depicts Eminem’s change in direction from drugs and violence.
The single became one of the most successful songs in Eminem’s career and it is now one of his three Diamond certified singles with over 447 million stream on Spotify. A couple of months after releasing the single in 2010, Eminem released the official video for it, which is now his second most-watched video on youtube with 1.3 Billion views. The iconic track always helps people getting over a tough period due to the motivational lyrics in it. Eminem recently quoted the track in his 12 years sobriety celebration post “Still not Afraid”.
