Nick Cannon comments on Kanye West’s situation.
Following a controversial couple of years, Kanye West has been away from the public eye for some time now. The rapper was criticized by fans and fellow musicians after his controversial statements regarding the Jewish community, and appreciation for Hitler.
Nick Cannon, who made music with Ye and was friends with him for many years, states that the Yeezy mogul needs help and love. “Kanye is saying some wild sh*t, and I don’t know if he really believes it,” he said in an interview with LA Times. “I tried to talk to him. I tried to put him with leaders in the Jewish community. I think it’s a lot more there. I just know he’s in desperate need of help and love and people to not abandon him.”
The comedian also revealed that his kids also play basketball at Sports Academy founded by Kobe Bryant, where Ye and Kim Kardashian’s kids also plays. “There are pictures out there, and I’m like, ‘Kanye, you hot right now! Get away from me! I’m just trying to take my kids to sports,'” he said.
Back in 2020, Ye took shots at Cannon for commenting on rapper’s sistuation with Kim Kardashian. “I got nothing but love for you, but you know I’ll always speak my mind, just like you always speak yours,” Cannon responded. “Not you, not NBC, no corporate infrastructures, no one is ever gonna control what I say because I speak truth always, it’s love.”
