Ne-Yo Reveals Non-Fiction Cover Art, Release Date & Tracklist

Ne-Yo reveals “Non-Fiction” Cover Art & more feat. Pitbull, Juicy J, and more.

Much Talked upcoming Album ‘Non-Fiction‘ of Ne-Yo Finally got a release date, the Album is slated to drop on January 27th,2015. The album includes 21 tracks and features that came from Juicy J, Jezzy, Pitbull, T.I., and More.

The new Ne-Yo album isn’t just for him… It’s also dedicated to his whole fan base. “The name of the album ‘Non Fiction’ is that for two reasons,” Ne-Yo exclusively told Max on her show. “Main reason being, this album is a collection of stories, and every single story on this album is a one hundred percent true story, thus the term ‘Non Fiction’. said, Ne-Yo.

“I didn’t just want to tell my story. I like letting people try to guess which is which!” said Ne-Yo of the follow-up to 2012’s R.E.D. “I’m a storyteller: with this album, I wanted to put a magnifying glass on that. I wanted Non-Fiction to feel cinematic: each track gives listeners something entertaining, yet if they take their time with it, they’ll discover different dimensions and subplots.”

Non-Fiction boasts high-profile features from ScHoolboy Q, Jeezy, T.I., Juicy J, and Pitbull, among others, over the course of its ambitious 21-track run (including two extra cuts). However, Ne-Yo will be managing the project on his own for the most part, and as an artist with a long list of notable songwriting credits, he shouldn’t have too much trouble.

In its first week, the album sold 59,000 copies, placing it at number five on the US Billboard 200. The R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart’s first position for the album was at the top. The album sold more than 108,000 copies in the US as of March 2015. According to Billboard 200, Non-Fiction was the 140th most successful album of the year in 2015.
