NBA Youngboy’s “The Last Slimeto” is releasing next month.
There were rumours floating around on the internet that NBA Youngboy is quitting rap with the release of his next project, but they turned out to be fake. Just recently, a screenshot of a text conversation surfaced online, where NBA reportedly said “Say I ain’t fw this rap sh*t no mo, after this album I’m done as long as my family str8, ima be good 4 life.”
Now the Baton Rouge rapper himself confirmed that he’s not going anywhere, and will be dropping a new one after August when his “The Last Slimeto” is releasing. “Don’t do fake promo on me I never said that,” he wrote. “After August, I’m dropping again.”

The Last Slimeto was initially revealed on Instagram by YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s in-house composer and engineer, Jason “Cheese” Goldberg. Following his apparent displeasure with Atlantic Records, it was later stated that this album would mark the end of YoungBoy’s lengthy tenure with Atlantic Records.
Following the post from Youngboy, his label Never Broke Again revealed the release date of his new album, which is August 5th.

NBA has been teasing the “Slimeto” project in the past few months and giving us consistent new music every other week. Earlier this month, Youngboy dropped a new song and video “Feel Good“. A couple of weeks ago, NBA also teamed up with Lil Nas X for a BET diss track “Late To Da Party,” which was in response to the “Montero” rapper not getting nominated at this year’s award event.
