NBA Youngboy Allegedly Made J. Cole Wait For 8 Hours In The Studio Before Not Showing Up

NBA Youngboy never showed up for a studio session with J. Cole.

NBA Youngboy‘s popularity is growing day by day as he continues to trend on Youtube with some new material every other week. The Baton Rouge native who recently welcomed a child with Yaya Mayweather reportedly passed on a studio session with J. Cole.

According to DJ Akademiks, Youngboy made J. Cole wait for 8 hours in the studio and then didn’t show up. “J. Cole waited in the studio for eight hours for Youngboy to show up,” said DJ Akademiks during his recent stream. “Youngboy didn’t show up. Facts. These are facts. Your favorite rapper, ni**a. J. Cole? He sat in the studio for eight hours for a session with Youngboy. Youngboy never showed up.

Let me be fair to Youngboy. No disrespect to J. Cole, J. Cole’s just a rapper. Youngboy be going through sh*t. He’s living life, he’s going through sh*t. Youngboy said, ‘yo, my energy is not fit to be in the studio with that guy.’ It wasn’t about J. Cole. It was just that he, and personally what he was going through, wasn’t fit to be in that environment.

Youngboy Never Broke Again is one of the top rappers in the world, dominating the music charts on YouTube. The Baton Rouge native has dominated many most-viewed lists for the past two years, frequently prioritizing content on the video-sharing platform. He’s worked with Nicki Minaj, Juice WRLD, Migos, and others in recent years, but he appears to have missed out on what could have been one of his biggest collaborations to date.
