Method Man on Eminem & Snoop Dogg Situation He Does Not Have Thick Skin

Method Man and Math Hoffa talk about Eminem & Snoop Dogg feud.

The legendary Method Man recently sat down with Math Hoffa for a new interview on ‘My Expert Opinion’ show where they talk about the whole recent Eminem and Snoop Dogg situation.

I don’t give a f**k,” says Method Man on asked about the Em-Snoop situation. “Because I look at that like this. Does it affect me in any way, Does It affect any of my family members or anybody I know, no.

But from your perspective, would you take offense,” asks Math Hoffa.

No, not at all because in a room with just us in it. We boys and s**t like that. We say s**t like that to each other,” says Method Man. “You know ‘I don’t f**k with your s**t, you sh*t was wack ni**a’ And it’s not taking any way but when it’s put in a public forum, it takes on a whole different light. Like I could sit here and tell my best friend like Joey shut the f**k up Joey, but when it’s just me and him, he won’t take it any kind of way but when we are in the room full of motherf**kers and I say that then it takes whole different light. It’s like ‘you gon’ tell me that in front of these ni**as?’

He continues, “So I think Em should have just look at it as boys being boys kind of thing. It’s like ‘so what you don’t f**k with my music? ni**a so what? but that was a public platform that’s why it hits a little different. So for Eminem who is revered not just by white kids but also blacks because we know he respects the genre. If people want to start drawing lines and it’s saying that line was already there ni**a. There are some people that are so big, I mean they such Eminem stans, like Eminem can say the wackest bar in the world and they will be like ‘omg dude did you hear what the f**k Eminem said, bro.’ It’s the same thing for Snoop. I’m pretty sure Em has heard verses from Snoop and he was like ‘ni**a that s**t was garbage.’ He could tell Snoop that But Em is the type of person that only tells Snoop that in a safe space. In a safe environment, knowing the ramifications of it being a public thing. Snoop, on the other hand, Snoop ain’t even a rapper anymore. This ni**a is a public persona. He’s beyond superstar So Everything he does it’s a public forum.

We all know Eminem does not have thick skin, You can tell by his records that he doesn’t have thick skin and if anybody said anything sideways about him he went ape s**t and went in on him to the point where he ruined careers. But we loved that s**t cause that where the culture came from, Especially battle rappers, they love that s**t. And I think everybody Eminem ever dissed on a record he hated their a**es but he don’t have that energy with Snoop so it was more hurt than ignite.

‘Enter the Wu-Tang’ (also known as ’36 Chambers’) is Wu-Tang Clan’s debut studio album. It was released on November 9th, 1993 by Loud Records, and features Method Man. The Recording Industry Association of America awarded it Platinum certification, then in October 2018, it was upgraded to Triple Platinum status. Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) quickly became one of the most important hip-hop albums of the ’90s, thanks to its generally good reception from music reviewers.

Although they share the same rap familial tree, Eminem and Snoop Dogg have feuded. Wu Tang’s Method Man felt at ease commenting on the matter because he comes from a complex household. Snoop Dogg recently made news for claiming that Eminem isn’t a top ten rapper. Em took a jab at Snoop in the song “Zeus” as a result of this. Em’s reply seemed to faze the Doggfather, who dismissed it as “soft ass crap.” Since then, Snoop has stated that they are not feuding.

Snoop Dogg went down with The Breakfast Club to discuss how he and Eminem ended their 2020 feud, claiming he was “out of pocket.” “Man, I love Eminem,” Snoop began. “The thing is that we love hip-hop so much. We competitive, we battle rappers — so that was supposed to trigger that in him. But we brothers and we family so we learned to appreciate each other for what we do and how we get down, and we had a long conversation about the respect that we have for each other and the way we need to talk in public about each other.”
