Magic Johnson is Thankful To Nas For A Tribute Track On Magic 2 Album

Magic Johnson calls Nas a hell of a businessman.

Magic Johnson acknowledges Nas for shouting him out on his latest project “Magic 2“. On his latest album “Magic 2”, the Illmatic hitmaker dedicated a track titled “Earvin Magic Johnson” to the basketball legend.

“On Nas’s new album Magic 2 he dedicated track 7 to me called Earvin Magic Johnson!” Johnson wrote with a screenshot of the album. “Thank you for the respect and honor of my business acumen. You’re a hell of a businessman in your own right!”

On the song tribute song to Johnson, Nas raps: “On my Earvin Magic Johnson, I’m enterprising / I keep it ghetto like the hood before they gentrified it / I might burn this bi–h down, Left Eye, Andre Rison.”

Magic Johnson played 13 season in the National Basketball Association (NBA), and is often regarded as the greatest point guard of all time. Johnson’s career achievements include three NBA MVP Awards, three NBA Finals Most Valuable Player Awards, nine NBA Finals appearances, 12 All-Star games, and nine All-NBA First Team selections. Johnson was honored as one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History in 1996 and selected to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021.

The new project comes with a pack of 11 tracks, which includes the previously released bonus track “One Mic, One Gun” with 21 Savage. The full project contains one additional collaboration from 50 Cent on the song titled “Office Hours”.
