Lupe Fiasco Reveals Artwork & Release Date Of New Album Drill Music In Zion; Drops First Single Autoboto

Lupe Fiasco announces new album “Drill Music In Zion”.

Lupe Fiasco had been teasing a new project for some time now, and he finally announced his next studio album “Drill Music In Zion”. The album will be his first in four years, and a follow up to 2018’s “Drogas Wave“. The rapper shared a Cover Art of the album and revealed that it will drop next month on June 24th.

Last year, Fiasco revealed that he was making a new 10 song album in 24 hours, but the fans never get to hear it as it was not released. A few months back, engineer Craig Bauer said that he heard the new project from the Chicago rapper, and declared it album of the year. “The new @lupefiasco record is Rap Album of the year,” he wrote on his IG story. “Nah. Decade. If you don’t feel something after listening to this…. You may want to check your pulse.”

Lupe started digging through a folder of Soundtrakk tracks in just three days and finished the album in just three days. Craig Bauer, the project’s Grammy-winning engineer, declared the album to be the best rap album of the decade in January. Lupe titled his album Illmatic last August, a reference to Nas’s 1994 debut, which is universally viewed as one of the greatest rap albums of all time.

Along with the announcement of his new album, Lupe Fiasco also dropped the first single titled “Autoboto”, with assistance from Nayirah.
