Ludacris Says He's Having A Great Time Again As He Drops New Freestyle

Ludacris raps in the freestyle ‘Startin To Feel Fun Again’.

Ludacris has returned to his rap roots and is relishing in the enjoyment of it again, showcasing his skills through a new, electrifying freestyle that has garnered praise from his fellow musicians.

The famous rapper and actor from Atlanta have not released a new album since 2015’s “Ludaversal,” but recently took to Instagram to prove to his fans that he still holds his mastery of the mic.

In his freestyle, Ludacris showcases his unique style of delivering rapid-fire lyrics, rapping in front of a lush backdrop of towering house plants. He also adds props to his performance, picking up a scotch on the rocks and a red Nike Air Force 1 shoe, both of which he mentions in his verses.

“It gets dark when you step into the limelight / I’m on that scotch on the rocks with a lime, like,” he raps, later adding “That flow’s stupid / Bi**h, if the shoe fits wear it / 10 and a half, my foot in your a*s, from here to Okinawa.”

Ludacris captioned the video with “Dis S**t Startin to feel FUN AGAIN,” expressing the renewed excitement and joy he feels for his rap career.

Ludacris’ recent freestyle performance earned him recognition from many of his peers in the music industry. They took to the comments section of his post to show their appreciation, with some expressing shock, others leaving only fire emojis, and some, such as actor Larenz Tate, including both emojis and words of support.

Additionally, other well-known names, including 9th Wonder, Affion Crockett, DJ Paul, Project Pat, and PJ Morton, left similar comments expressing their admiration for Ludacris’ skills. His former DTP artist, Shawnna, also weighed in with a series of emojis, including a 100, bicep, and crown.

This is not the first time Ludacris has taken to social media recently to remind fans of his talents. Last month, he recited his verse from the 2003 “Made You Look” remix, which featured Nas and Jadakiss, after seeing online debates about who had the best verse on the track. He aimed to settle the argument by reciting his lyrics word for word and ensuring that no one had forgotten his contribution to the song.

The “Made You Look” remix was released a few months after the original appeared on Nas’ sixth studio album, “God’s Son.” Nas, Ludacris, and Jadakiss performed the song at Nas’ “Made You Look: God’s Son Live” concert in New York City’s Webster Hall in 2003.
