Logic Says Joe Budden's Harsh Criticism Make People Want To Kill Themselves

Logic speaks on Joe Budden’s hate.

Logic retired from Hip-Hop with the release of his new album “No Pressure” and when he made the retirement announcement a couple of weeks ago, Joe Budden, who last year called Logic one of the worst rappers to grace the mic, said that he should’ve retired a long time ago.

Then a few days ago, Joe Budden apologized to Logic on his Podcast and said, “Logic I’m sorry man. Last week I came in here feeling pretty tumultuous. Fresh out of Twitter jail, unable to properly read the room. And just hating myself and life, honestly. Unfortunately, I projected some of that onto you Lodge. And for that, I want to apologize.

“For the last few years, every time I do anything, it’s this guy telling me that I’m sh*t, that I’m not good enough … and when somebody says that all the time, you’re just like, ‘Damn. Really? What did I do to this guy?'” Logic explained. “And then I realized that Joe Budden was a damaged person … I’m a damaged person. I’ve gone through a lot of shit. He’s got a lot of anger inside of him, and if I’m his punching bag, so be it. If I can help him in some way, cool. If him shitting on me makes his day better, by all means. I wish he was nicer, I guess. But I’m not over here losing sleep … it’s not that deep … I really love this guy, and I wish him the best, and I just want him to be happy.”

Now in a new interview with Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg, Logic revealed that the harsh comments of Joe Budden make people want to kill themselves. “He doesn’t like me for whatever reason.” said Logic around 24-minute mark. “He wants to say I’m not Black enough, I’m not good enough. He’s a person who’s led to part of my depression, some of my darkest spaces. Your words, they make people want to kill themselves, bro.
