Lil Wayne Announces Welcome To Tha Carter Tour 2023

Lil Wayne is heading on to “Welcome To Tha Carter Tour” 2023.

While the fans are waiting for the next Lil Wayne album, the Young Money mogul has announced: “Welcome To Tha Carter Tour”. The 28-date tour will kick off on April 4th in Minneapolis and will go through major markets like Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, New York, Atlanta, Nashville, Houston, Phoenix and more before concluding things on May 13 in Los Angeles.

Last year, Weezy announced his next studio album “Tha Carter 6”, which could be close after the announcement of the tour. The project will be a sequel to the fifth instalment of the Carter series, which was dropped in 2018. The rapper is also working on a joint project with 2 Chainz, a sequel to their 2016’s album “ColleGrove”.

The announcement of the tour comes ahead of a major event hosted by The Recording Academy’s Black Music Collective, where Lil Wayne will receive significant recognition. He will be awarded the Global Impact Award for his outstanding personal and professional achievements in the music industry. This accolade highlights the impact that Wayne has had on music and recognizes his contributions to the field.
