Kid Cudi Talks about how Eminem bodied him on his own track

Kid Cudi Sat down with Lil Wayne for Young Money Radio, Talks about “The Adventures of Moon Man and Slim Shady” with Eminem.

Cudi and Em released their debut collaboration, “Adventures of Moon Man & Slim Shady,” earlier this week. Cudi informed Wayne on Friday that the furious new tune was inspired by Eminem’s appearance as a featured guest on Weezy’s Apple Music program in early May. (July 10).

“Well it’s crazy because your interview kind of set it off, right?” Cudi said, adding that his team reached out to Em’s manager, Paul Rosenberg after the interview aired. “I had the record and I just was like, ‘Man, let’s send it to him. The worst that could happen is, he doesn’t f**k with it, and then at the end of the day, I won’t be mad about it.

Following “Leader of Delinquents” and his duet with Travis Scott, “The Scotts,” Kid Cudi’s third song of the year is “The Adventures of Moon Man and Slim Shady.” In addition to music, he has teamed up with Kanye West to voice characters in the Takashi Murakami-directed Kids See Ghosts, which is based on their collaboration album of the same name from 2018.

On July 8, 2020, Cudi’s daughter, Vada, released the song through Instagram. It’s also worth noting that this isn’t the first time Cudi and Em have acknowledged each other; Em mentioned Cudi on the Bad Meets Evil track “All I Think About,” which appeared on the Southpaw soundtrack in July 2015. Cudi acknowledged the mention in a subsequent Twitter tweet.

Fresh off from the release of his single titled “The Adventures of Moon Man and Slim Shady” featuring Eminem. Kid Cudi sat down with Lil Wayne for an Exclusive interview session where Kid Cudi reveals how Kid Cudi and Eminem through Paul Rosenberg. While talking about his collaboration, Kid Cudi Says, “I just send it off in like he responded back, Em Said he F**k with it and em were asking questions like when I was thinking about releasing it and all these things and I was like whoa it seems like he’s gonna write this sh*t, he sent it right back and I got him on the phone and tell him I was yo bro you f**king destroyed it. I’m like Eminem on my song and bodied in my own sh*t. But, f**k it, I’ll get em on my song.

Cudi, whose real name is Scott Mescudi, has previously acted in HBO’s How to Make it in America and Westworld, among other projects. He also told Wayne that the Luca Guadagnino-directed series “We Are Who We Are” was “probably the most challenging performance I’ve ever done.”

“This was something I was looking forward to get into because I am kind of used to playing the best friend or the stoner guy or the comic relief or something like that,” the rapper and actor said. “I wanted to just try something different.”

Kid Cudi also discussed Weezy’s effect on him as a rapper, reaching his first Billboard Hot 100 with Travis Scott, mental health, a possible future collaboration with Wayne, his new podcast, and more during his conversation with Wayne.
