Kid Cudi Says Kanye West Is Not His Friend Over New Song With Pusha T

Kid Cudi reacts to a new track with Kanye West on the upcoming Pusha T album.

Earlier this year, Kanye West was continuously taking shots at Pete Davidson over his relationship with Kim Kardashian. The rapper also dragged his long time collaborator Kid Cudi in the feud, and removed him from his latest album “Donda 2” over his friendship with Kim’s comedian boyfriend.

Cudi and Ye’s most recent public feud appears to have sprung from the latter’s allegations regarding Donda 2 features. “Just so everyone knows, Cudi will not be on Donda because he’s friends with you know who,” Ye stated in February, presumably referring to Pete Davidson. Of course, the SNL star is presently dating Kim Kardashian.

The two threw multiple shots at each other on social media and broke their friendship. “We talked weeks ago about this,” wrote Cudi. “You’re whack for flipping the script and posting this lie just for a look on the internet. You ain’t no friend. BYE.”

Now Pusha T is dropping his new album “It’s Almost Dry” this week, and it is revealed that Kanye West and Kid Cudi also featured on the same track “Rock N Roll”. After the tracklist, fans wondered if the two rappers are on the good terms now, and Cudi shared that it was recorded over a year ago, and he’s no longer friend with Ye. “Hey! So I know some of you heard about the song I got w Pusha. I did this song a year ago when I was still cool w Kanye. I am not cool w that man. He’s not my friend and I only cleared the song for Pusha cuz thats my guy. This is the last song u will hear me on w Kanye,” he wrote in a tweet.
