Kendrick Lamar Returns To Stage In LA, Says He'll Be Back Very Soon

Kendrick Lamar teases his music return, which is “very soon”.

While we’re waiting for the long-awaited new album from Kendrick Lamar, he made his return to the stage on Friday night at the Day N Vegas festival in LA. As the theme of his set mentioned “From Section.80 to DAMN,” K. Dot performed some of the tracks from his Section. 80 project, as well as other albums. Wearing the matching white bottom and top, the “Loyalty” rapper also debuts his long hair.

It’s been around two years since the last time he performed at the stage, which he mentioned during his latest performance. “365 days times two since I’ve seen you,” he said. Kendrick Lamar’s set includes songs like, “F**k Your Ethnicity”, “A.D.H.D.”, “Poetic Justice”, “Bi**h, Don’t Kill My Vibe”, “i”, “Alright”, “Lust”, “The Blacker the Berry”, “Sing About Me, I’m Dying of Thirst” and more.

Kendrick Lamar also brings out his cousin Baby Keem, to perform their recent collaborations “Family Ties” and “Range Brothers”. At the end of his set, Kendrick Lamar hinted at new music, which will come out very soon. “Vegas, until next time,” he said. “And when I say next time, I mean very soon.”

Kendrick Lamar will also headline SuperBowl Halftime with Eminem, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Mary J. Blige in February.

Lamar released a statement in August indicating that he was working on his “Last TDE Album.” A month later, the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers registered a slew of new songs (ASCAP).
