Kendrick Lamar Kicks Off His International The Big Steppers Tour In Okhlama City

When Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem performed “family connections,” the crowd erupted.

Several amazing tours, including the upcoming Kid Cudi tour and the joint tour by Lil Baby and Chris Brown, are anticipated to hit the road this summer. The Big Steppers tour by Kendrick Lamar, on the other hand, is probably the most eagerly awaited tour taking place this year. Together with Tanna Leone and Baby Keem, the rapper just began his tour in Oklahoma City. The video implies that Kendrick may also have some of the finest live performances of the year.

The rapper debuted seven tracks from ‘Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers’ for the first time at the Paycom Center, where he collaborated with Baby Keem on ‘Family Ties.’

The clip of “Family Ties” with Baby Keem, wherein the two perform inside a box with four men dressed in all white standing in each corner, sticks out especially. Other tracks performed by the rapper were “Auntie Diaries,” “Worldwide Steppers,” “Purple Hearts,” and others. “Bi**h, Don’t Kill My Vibe” and “Backseat Freestyle” were also among his hits.

As shown in footage from last night’s tour start, fans can expect to hear a lot of Mr. Morale tunes on this worldwide tour, with some making their live premieres in Oklahoma. Back catalog favorites like “Alright” and “Humble” were also on Tuesday’s setlist.

The performance comes only weeks after Lamar headlined Glastonbury, when he chanted “Godspeed for Women’s Rights” in response to the recent US Supreme Court decision to repeal Roe v. Wade.

Kendrick told the crowd, “Godspeed for women’s rights,” while wearing a custom Tiffany & Co. crown of thorns and fake blood streaming down his face. “Godspeed for women’s rights. They judge you, they judge Christ.”
Lamar’s tour will now stop in Austin tonight at the Moody Center (July 21). Tickets for his remaining US gigs are available here. Tickets for his concerts in the United Kingdom are also available here.
