Kanye West Responds To Drake Dissing Him On A New Song

Drake disses Kanye West in a new verse, Ye responds.

The situation between Drake and Kanye West is heating up again. The Toronto rap star has reignited their feud as he disses the GOOD Music boss in a new Verse. Drake featured on a new Trippe Redd’s song called “Betrayal“, which appeared on the latest “Trip At Knight” album. At the end of his verse, Drizzy seems to be taking shots at Kanye, along with the GOOD Music president Pusha T.

All these fools I’m beefin’ that I barely know
Forty-five, forty-four (burned out), let it go
Ye ain’t changin’ shit for me, it’s set in stone,” raps Drake.

In the following lines, Drake first mentions 44, the age of Kanye and Pusha T, then by calling “Ye”, he references the mysterious release date of Kanye’s new album “DONDA,” as it is believed that he’s waiting for Drizzy to announce his “Certified Lover Boy” release date so he can drop the project at the same time.

Now Kanye West has responded to Drake’s shots as he posted a screenshot of a group chat, which also has Pusha T. The members of the group are shown with their name initials, and it also has a “D”, which could possibly be Drake. In the group, Ye shared a picture of Joker (Joaquin Phoenix), and wrote, “I live for this. I’ve been f**ked with by nerd a** jock ni**as like you my whole life. You will never recover. I promise you.

While there is no evidence that West’s text was in response to Drake, some have noticed that one of the bubbles at the top of the message (which displays the recipient’s first letter) began with the letter “D.”

Kanye West and Drake have had a tumultuous relationship for almost a decade. They had been cordial partners for years before a series of misunderstandings became nasty and tensions between their camps erupted. We’d seen many Subliminals in song lyrics, purple devil emoticons, crazy tweets, and full-fledged diss records between Kanye’s close collaborator Pusha-T and Drake before the end of the decade. Drake was rumored to have created a diss track that would “ruin” Kanye’s career at one time, but he opted not to release it

The post has now been removed from Kanye’s IG, but the screenshots are all over social media.

Consequence, a former GOOD Music signee, and longtime Kanye collaborator, also responded to Drake’s diss in a tweet. “F**k a betrayal. It’s the disrespect for me dawg. Wit Trippie Redd shotgun. Respect my team. It’s party time.

Kanye West’s long-delayed album “DONDA”, is said to be finally released on August 27th, after a Livestream event in Chicago. Check out some of the reactions to the whole situation below.
