Kanye West Reportedly Planning A Russia Trip To Meet Vladimir Putin & Grow Business

Kanye West planning to perform Sunday Services in Russia and a meeting with President Putin.

Kanye West is heading to Russia for a business trip. According to Billboard, the GOOD Music boss is planning a trip to Moscow, Russia, where he will meet President Vladimir Putin. He will reportedly want to hold multiple Sunday service performances, and also looking to expand his business in the country.

Ameer Sudan, the confidant and strategic advisor of Kanye West revealed that the plans is currently in work for later this year, which will depend on the “DONDA” rapper’s schedule. Sudan stated that Russia will be Ye’s “second home” as “He will be spending a lot of time out there.”

Ameer Sudan is working with attorney Scott Balber to plan a business meeting between Kanye West and Azerbaijani-Russian billionaire real estate developer Aras Agalarov and his son Emin Agalarov.

Billboard reports that the U.S. Department of State currently lists Russia with a level 4 “do not travel” advisory, due to terrorism, harassment by Russian government security officials, the embassy’s limited ability to assist U.S. citizens in Russia and the arbitrary enforcement of local law.

“This is Ye, Ye is going to get there regardless. What are they going to say? He’s going to be a special guest of the Agalarovs,” says Sudan. “Kanye knows what’s going on more than the average human being, he’s well aware of things. And it’s nothing against the United States or to cause conflicts, but Ye is Ye — he can’t be controlled.”

According to Sudan, Ye is also working on new commercial arrangements with the Agalarovs, and while he couldn’t reveal the specifics of those talks, he estimated that they will boost West’s wealth to more than $10 billion. Bloomberg claimed in March that Ye was worth $6.6 billion as a result of lucrative partnerships with Adidas and Gap, but Sudan maintains the amount is modest. According to the company’s website, the Agalarovs’ Crocus Group is responsible for approximately 4 million square metres of developed property in Russia, with a portfolio of enterprises that includes shopping complexes, superstores, fashion brands, department stores, boutiques, and more.
