Kanye West looks to reconcile with Kid Cudi after recent shots.
Kanye West has been taking shots at Kim Kardashian’s comedian boyfriend Pete Davidson and also dragging others in the beef. The rapper recently called out his good friend Kid Cudi and revealed that he won’t be on “Donda 2” because of his friendship with Davidson.
“Just so everyone knows Cudi will not be on Donda because he’s friends with you know who. We all speak in Billie language now,” he shared on his IG in since-deleted post. Kid Cudi also responded in the comment section, “Too bad I don’t wanna be on ur album u f**kin dinosaur hahahaha. Everyone knows I’ve been the best thing about ur albums since I met u. Ima pray brother.”

Cudi and Kanye formed a close friendship and collaborative cooperation after meeting in 2006. The two had a falling out in 2016, but were reunited months later after Cudi said he was going to treatment. They went on to work together on a number of tracks and even formed the super-duo Kids See Ghosts.
Kid Cudi also addressed the whole situation on Twitter and wrote, “We talked weeks ago about this. You’re whack for flipping the script and posting this lie just for a look on the internet. You ain’t no friend. BYE.”

The 38-year-old then prayed to God to watch over him. “God… Please watch over me and keep me sane. I could use it right now. To anyone who feels alone, I’m with u and I love you,” he said. Ye now reposted Cudi’s message on his IG with “Love you family” in a since-deleted post.

Cudi has yet to reply to Ye’s tweet publicly, although he did thank fans for their support on Wednesday night.

Kanye deleted his Instagram clean after blasting out Cudi, Davidson, and Billie Eilish, and wrote a somewhat conciliatory note about his actions. “I’m working on my communication. I can benefit from a team of creative professionals, organizers, mobilizers and community leaders,” he wrote. “Thank everybody for supporting me. I know sharing screen shots was jarring and came off as harassing Kim. I take accountability. I’m still learning in real time. I don’t have all the answers. To be good leader is to be a good listener.”
They went on to work together on a number of tracks and even formed the super-duo Kids See Ghosts. Their friendship, however, took a turn last month when Kanye revealed that Cudi will no longer appear on his upcoming Donda 2 record. What’s the reason? Because Cudi was friends with Pete Davidson, Kanye’s estranged wife Kim Kardashian’s current lover.
