Drake and Kanye West to link up at Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert.
The long going beef between Kanye West and Drake was finally squashed earlier this week, as the two rappers reunites at Drizzy’s Toronto Mansion. The two shared pictures and clips of their meeting, which also had the likes of Dave Chappelle, J. Prince and more. The whole movement is about freeing Larry Hoover, and now both Ye and Drake will join forces for a performance at the Benefit Concert next month.
“So I met with Ye to pass on the message from my brother Larry Hoover who said he would like to see peace between the two of them,” said J. Prince previously. “Ye received this well and said thanks because he never had anyone that sat him down and explained things to him the way I did.”
Larry Hoover Jr., Hoover’s son, commented about the planned event in an interview on the Murder Master Music Show, which was broadcast on YouTube on November 18. Hoover Jr. had previously stated that the two musicians will appear “together pushing for the release of Larry Hoover.”
“Everything is good and it’s happening at this point. It’s happening. December 9th you will see them together and we’ll all advocate for Freeing Larry Hoover,” said Larry Hoover Jr. “We are gonna get the word out to as many people as we can and then the words will go further from there. We gotta let the powers that be know that we want Larry Hoover in our community. That’s gonna be a big way to do it. Plus we want to show people of other communities that we can come together in peace.”
J. Prince had initiated the reunion with a video message that Ye had uploaded online. In the video, Ye reads a statement from his phone in which he invites Drake to appear as a special guest at the performance. “I believe this event will not only bring awareness to our cause but prove to people everywhere how much more we can accomplish when we lay our pride aside and come together,” he said.
Now Kanye West has confirmed that he and Drake will be performing on December 9th at Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert. “God’s Plan,” wrote Ye with the announcement.
