Kanye West Joins Drake, Eminem & Tupac For A Gigantic Billboard Record

Kanye West has now charting albums with combined 1,000 weeks.

Kanye West has been away from music for some time now, but the rapper continues to earn new chart and streaming records with his catalogue. The GOOD Music boss has now earned a huge Billboard record that has only been achieved by three rap artists before him.

Kanye West‘s albums have now been charting for a gigantic 1,000 combined weeks on Billboard. He now joins an elite list of Drake, Eminem and Tupac as the only hip-hop artists to achieve this milestone.

Ye’s most charted album is his third studio album “Graduation” which was dropped in 2007. The project is on the Billboard charts for over 234 weeks. This second most charted Ye album is “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” which was released in 2010.

In addition to his ten overall No. 1 albums, Kanye has three more albums that have been in the top ten on the Billboard 200, with just one was being fully credited to him. Both Kids See Ghosts, a collaborative collection with Kid Cudi (as the duo Kids See Ghosts), and Cruel Summer, a compilation/album hybrid from West’s record label Good Music, peaked at No. 2.

Just recently, Kanye West made headlines as he made a surprise appearance at Rolling Loud Miami 2022 after pulling out as a headliner. The rapper was brought on stage by Lil Durk during his set.
