Joyner Lucas apologizes to Machine Gun Kelly over the recent rant.
Lollapalooza festival recently announced the lineup for their 2022 event, where they also named Joyner Lucas as one of the performers. Joyner Lucas wasn’t pleased with the way he was treated, as his name was written in between some not so known artists. The rapper then took shots at the festival over the disrespect, and also dragged rapper turned pop-funk artist Machine Gun Kelly, who was named as one of the headliners.
“Then you got this goofy a*s ni**a headlining? Smh how sway?,” he asked in a tweet with MGK’s picture with painted tongue. “someone said “don’t bring out the rap devil”… maaaaannnn listen. Lol What my brother Marshall did to this ni**a @machinegunkelly is light compared to what’s waiting if he wanna walk down that street wit me. Ain’t nobody worried bout a ni**a who paints his nails. foh,” he wrote in another tweet.
The Worcester, Massachusetts rapper then backtracks from his comments, as he blamed it on a russia hacker after deleting all of his rant. “Them Damn Russian hackers dun hacked my phone yesterday smh,” he wrote.
Joyner Lucas now again took to his Twitter account, where he takes the blame for his tweets, and also issued an apology to “Mainstream Sellout” artist MGK. “As far as the Machine Gun Kelly sh*t Goes,, homie ain’t have nothing to do with my rant. Jus got caught in the cross fire of one of my bitter moments. Def sum s*cka sh*t to come at him for nothin. I own that & I apologize. Real ni**a sh*t. I ain’t perfect. Im growing everyday,” he said in a tweet.
“Lot of artists or people in general are afraid of checking themselves. I check myself all the time. I cant throw a Tantrum and shoot at ni**az for nothin. Machine Gun Kelly did absolutely nothin to me to deserve that lame tweet. If u readin this, I apologize dog. real ni**a sh*t,” he wrote in another tweet.
However, the rapper still sticking to his statement that he’s the biggest Independent artist, but with an exception. I still think im the biggest independent artist in the world tho with the exception of my ni**a Tech N9ne and Russ.. [laughing emoji] I don’t take that one back,” he said.
