JAY-Z & Kid Cudi preview collab in “The Harder They Fall” trailer.
Today, Netflix has dropped a trailer for an upcoming Western film called “The Harder They Fall“. The Jeymes Samuel-directed movie will star Jonathan Majors, Idris Elba, Zazie Beetz, Lakeith Stanfield, and more. The new trailer also teased a new collaboration between Jay-Z and Kid Cudi. The legendary Hov has also contributed to the new film through production.
Jay-Z hasn’t dropped a new project for four years when he dropped his 13th studio album “4:44” in 2017. Since then, Hov has been less active in the music industry, delivering rhymes with Nipsey Hussle, Meek Mill, Nas, and others. There’s no hint of a new record from the icon, but his devoted followers are content with whatever they get. The Brooklyn rapper has been assisting other artists throughout the year. Jay-Z recently appeared in both “DONDA” and “Certified Lover Boy“, the latest albums from Kanye West and Drake. Kid Cudi also featured in both projects, and he released his most recent album “Man On The Moon III: The Chosen” in December last year.
“Faithful till the end, bullets with your name drew, cock back aim shoot,” Jay-Z raps in the trailer.
Produced by JAY-Z and James Lassiter, the action-packed film follows an epic rivalry between Black cowboys, with an all-star cast including Regina King, Idris Elba, LaKeith Stanfield, Jonathan Majors, Zazie Beetz, Delroy Lindo, Damon Wayans Jr., and more.
