On Sunday night, Charlotte Hornets took on Golden State Warriors at Spectrum Center, the game which also had North Carolina’s very own J. Cole at the attendance. Before the game, footage showed that J. Cole had a short interaction with State Warriors’ leader Stephen Curry. The two had a small convo and dapped up a couple of times. The home side won the match by 106-102. Despite the setback, the Warriors remain undefeated on the season and hold the best record in the NBA. With the win, the Hornets improved to 8-7 in their first 15 games.

Although it’s difficult to understand what Curry is saying to a market J. Cole, the two exchanged a laugh and dapped up a few times before parting ways. Steph then went to the road fans to sign autographs. The NBA’s three-point shooting king, like J. Cole, grew up in North Carolina while his father, Dell Curry, played for the Charlotte Hornets in the 1990s.

DaBaby, who recently fought with his BM Danileigh during IG Live, was also in attendance at the game, and he linked up with J. Cole in between the game. J. Cole recently wrapped up his “The Off-Season” tour at Rolling Loud’s NYC event last month.

After dropping his album earlier this year, J. Cole had a short stint at Rwanda Patriots BBC, the Basketball Africa League team. He played three games in the league, scored 5 points, 3 assists, and 5 rebounds in 45 minutes of three preliminary games. J. Cole also wrote an article about his relationship with Basketball & Hip-Hop
