J. Cole Returns With Some Motivational Words For The AUDACITY II

J. Cole shares some inspirational words in “The AUDACITY II”.

J. Cole is back with a surprise drop, as he shares some motivational words in part 2 of his 2020’s “The AUDACITY”. The rapper says motivating lines over the clip that featured Dominican high school basketball player Hansel Enmanuel, who only has one arm.

“I got to keep it 100 with you. They don’t think you can do it,” says Cole. “They look at you and all they see is a man standing in front of a mountain that’s too big to scare. But I believe in you. Sh*t you made me a believer cause I see how much you believe in yourself. Why else would you work this hard. Sh*t I ain’t gonna lie, they surprised you made it this far. Now quietly in the back of their minds there’s a tiny thought that wonders how far you can actually go with this. And I know something they don’t know. That the answer to that question my boy… is up to you.”

J. Cole is a sucker for a good inspiring narrative, especially when it involves basketball or hip hop. Hansel Enmanuel, a high school basketball superstar, has had his hoop mixtape go viral several times, not only because of his fascinating performance but also because of his ability to dominate despite his handicap.

In a childhood accident, the Florida native lost virtually half of his arm, yet he persisted to become a high school standout at Life Christian Academy in Kissimmee, Florida. J. Cole took notice of Enmanuel’s tale and cast him in his Dreamer brand’s current “The Audacity II” commercial.

Dreamville Festival will return to Raleigh, North Carolina, on April 2 and 3, 2022, according to J. Cole. The rapper’s label originally announced the news with a spoof news piece on a station named “Dreamville News” on the company’s social media accounts. Cole previously announced the return of the festival with the dates for his tour in support of his new album, The Off-Season, and he has now revealed the two-day event will take place at Raleigh’s Dorothea Dix Park.
