iHeartRadio Music Awards 2021 Winners & Performance

Check out the winners & performers at iHeart Radio Music Awards 2021.

Following the Billboard Music Awards 2021 this past Sunday, this year’s iHeartRadio Music Awards took place earlier tonight. The Weeknd continues his domination as he took home multiple awards, including Male Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, and Titanium Artist of the ear. The Korean band BTS also won in multiple categories, including best music video, favorite music video choreography, and more. The Best Pop Album Award was given to Taylor Swift’s “Folklore“. Roddy Ricch won awards for Best New Hip Hop Artist, Hip Hop Artist of the year, and song of the year.

The 2020 ceremony has been cancelled because to the current international coronavirus epidemic. The winners will be announced on September 4–7, 2020.

The Show was also filled with various performances, from the likes of Anderson .Paak, Bruno Mars, Elton John, Doja Cat, Demi Lovato, and more. The Weeknd also performed his hit “Save Your Tears” along with a surprise appearance from recently married Ariana Grande.

This year’s festival will be historic for many reasons,” says Tom Poleman, chief programming officer for iHeartMedia, in a statement. “Not only will it be the first time all of these artists are together on the same stage, but also because it’ll be in front of a live audience. We’ve all been waiting for this moment – live music is back, and we’ll be celebrating like never before.

Industry stalwarts and upcoming stars are expected to perform at the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards. Megan Thee Stallion will perform during the yearly gathering. LL Cool J, the show’s host, will also hit the stage, taking a break from his emcee responsibilities. There will also be performances by Jason Aldean, John Legend, Charlie Puth, Mneskin, and more.

Jennifer Lopez will also be in attendance. The iHeartRadio Icon Award for 2022 has been given to the 52-year-old artist. Lopez is being honoured for her influence on pop culture, longevity, and continuous relevance as a touring and radio powerhouse with a devoted fan base across the world, according to a press release.
