The 2026 Met Gala once again proved why it is one of the biggest nights in fashion. Held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, this year’s event followed the theme “Costume Art” with the dress code “Fashion is Art.” The idea was simple… treat fashion like a form of artwork. And honestly, many hip-hop artists really understood the assignment.

One of the biggest highlights of the night was the return of Beyonce, who also served as a co-chair. After nearly a decade away from the Met Gala, her comeback felt special. She wore a detailed, eye-catching outfit that instantly became one of the most talked-about looks. Jay-Z was right by her side, keeping it classy in a clean black suit, while their daughter Ivy Blue added a soft and elegant touch in white.

Another artist who got everyone talking was Doechii. She fully leaned into the “Fashion is Art” concept by wearing a sheer, body-focused outfit and walking barefoot. Skepta took a more minimal route but still made a statement, while Anderson .Paak brought a fun twist with his patterned tuxedo and bold hairstyle.
