Jay-Z tops the highest-paid hip-hop artists 2021 list.

Before Forbes reveals the Highest paid musicians of last year, we already have a list which is created by Zack O’Malley Greenburg, the one who put together the list for the platform. Last year’s Hip-Hop cash king is Jay-Z, who earned around $470 million in 2021. Hov’s last year’s earnings largely come from his Tidal streaming service and Armand de Brignac champagne, which gets him to his career-best number.

The second on the list is Jay-Z’s “The Throne” collaborator Kanye West, who made around $250 million last year. Ye’s 2021 earning largely comes from his billion-dollar footwear brand Yeezy. In Forbes’ highest-paid musicians of 2020, Kanye West topped the list with $170 million.

The number three on the list is Diddy, who made around $75 million last year, followed by “Certified Lover Boy” Drake with $50 million. The number 5 on the list is a surprising name, which is Wiz Khalifa. The Taylor Gang has been continuously giving us new music, and he made $45 million in 2021.

Travis Scott is number 6th on the list with $38 million, followed by DJ Khaled with $35 million. The Detroit Rapper Eminem is the 8th highest-paid rap artist of 2021, accumulating over $28 Eminem. The “Lose Yourself” rapper is expected to be higher on the list next year after his performance at the Super Bowl LVI halftime show with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and others.

The only female artist in the top ten is Doja Cat. From her global exposure and agreements with Pepsi, Taco Bell, and Candy Crush, the “Kiss Me More” rapper made $25 million.
