Eminem Disses The Game, Melle Mel & Gen Z In New Song Realest

Eminem fires shots at his critics in his first verse of 2023.

Eminem finally made his long-awaited return as he assisted Shady Records’ latest signee Ez Mil on the new single titled “Realest“. In his first verse of 2023, the Detroit rapper addressed a lot of things that were talked about him over the year, including Melle Mel and The Game.

Last year, The Game had been going at Eminem and stated that no one plays his music in the club. “And that is the only retort, is I’m not played in the clubs / Motherf–ker, put a cork in it / Only reason they still play your sh-t in the clubs / Is ’cause you still perform in ’em,” raps Eminem in response.

The rapper also responded to statements that he’s a guest in hip-hop, a remark made by Lord Jamar. “I am a guest in this house but I turned this bi–h to a mansion / That’s an expansion, made it gargantuan / England, Germany, France and Japan’s in this bi–h / Even Dubai, because my music, they do buy,” he raps.

The Kamikaze rapper also took aim at Melle Mel, who recently stated that Eminem is only top 5 because he’s white. “But when they say that I’m only top five / ‘Cause I’m white, why would I be stunned? / My skin color still workin’ against me / ‘Cause second I should be to none / Being white ain’t why they put me at top five / It’s why they can’t put me at one,” he raps.

“Shout to the Furious Five and Grandmaster Flash, but, boy / This someone who really is furious, stay out his path, his wrath, avoid / And I’ll be the last to toy with a juice-head whose brain is like half destroyed / Like a meteor hit it / Well, there went Melle Mel, we lost his a-s to ‘roids,” he spits in another bar.

Eminem also took shots at Gen Z, who often trashed the rapper on social media. “Gen Z is actin’ like rap experts, zip up your gaps and close your mouths / Bi–h, you ain’t been on this planet long enough to tell me how rap’s supposed to sound / Y’all need to stick to what you do best, shootin’ schools up, gat’, go load up rounds.”

While there’s no response from Melle Mel yet, The Game seemingly reacts to the diss while sharing a line from the verse. “I still perform in em,” he wrote on his social media.
