The nominations for the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards announced.
Eminem and Snoop Dogg recently collaborated on the long-due track called “From The 2 The LBC“, and the song earned them a nod at this year’s MTV VMAs.
MTV announced the nominations for the 2022 Video Music Awards, which is all set to take place at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on Sunday, August 28 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
Eminem and Snoop Dogg earned a spot in the “Best Hip-Hop” category for their latest collaboration which arrived with a Bored Ape NFT-inspired music video. The other nominees in the same category are Future, Drake & Tems “Wait For U“, Kendrick Lamar’s “N95“, Latto’s “Big Energy“, Nicki Minaj and Lil Baby’s “Do We Have A Problem?” and Pusha T’s “Diet Coke”.

This year, Kendrick Lamar, Jack Harlow and Lil Nas X lead the pack with seven nominations each. Doja Cat and Harry Styles are with the second most nominations as they get nods in six categories each. Drake, Billie Eilish, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa and The Weeknd with five nominations each.
The MTV Video Music Awards are a voting-based event, and you can cast your vote on their website.
Cardi B, Future, and Baby Keem each get four nominations, while Drake and The Weeknd are up for five awards. Lil Nas X, Jack Harlow, Latto, Busta Rhymes, and Doja Cat, who served as the show’s host last year, among others, all gave performances at the VMAs. “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” by Lil Nas X took home the Video of the Year award, while “Franchise” by Travis Scott, Young Thug, and M.I.A. received Best Hip Hop Video.
