Latto drops “Big Energy” Remix with Mariah Carey and DJ Khaled.
Latto finally released her highly anticipated new album “777”, a follow up to her 2020’s debut effort “Queen of da Souf.” The project featured guest appearances from Lil Wayne, Childish Gambino, Nardo Wick, Kodak Black, Lil Durk, 21 Savage and more. When Latto unveiled the tracklist, she revealed that the project will have a “Big Energy” Remix, with a surprise guest appearance.
The Ohio born rapper has now unleashed the official remix, which is a collaboration with Mariah Carey and DJ Khaled. The song is produced by Vaughn Oliver & Dr. Luke.
“Oh, when you walk by every night / Talking sweet and looking fine / I get kind of hectic inside / Mmm, baby, I’m so into you,” sings Mariah.
On Friday (Mar. 25), Latto hinted the collaboration while promoting her sophomore album, 777. She used the unique 777 emoji along with a butterfly, Mariah’s favourite symbol. The singer then retweeted the message, implying that a collaboration was on the way in a not-so-subtle way.
