Eminem Remembers George Floyd in His New Song

Eminem shouts out George Floyd in his new track “The Adventures of Moon Man & Slim Shady.

Eminem is back with some new material as he joined forces with Kid Cudi on his new single called “The Adventures of Moon Man & Slim Shady“. The song was announced a couple of days ago, by Kid Cudi’s daughter on the GOOD Music artist’s Instagram. In their long verses, the rap team pulled out an explosive production with great wordplay and flow. In his performance, Eminem addressed two of the most pressing topics in the United States today: police brutality and racism. Eminem made a direct allusion to the murders of African-American George Floyd, who died in police custody in Minneapolis, and Ahmaud Arbery, who went for a jog in the South Georgia neighborhood and was tracked down and shot by two armed white men.

In his verse, Eminem remembers George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery, the African-American man who was murdered by Police in the past few months. The recent death of George Floyd ignited the Black Matter Lives protests all over the USA.

Eminem raps”
And Its non-stop fury,
Cause I ain’t holdin’ them up, like an armed robbery,
and Gods my jury so when I die, I’m not worried,
Prayers to George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery,
How the f**k is it that, so many Cops are dirty,
Stop man please, officer I’m sorry,
But I can’t breathe When I got you on top of me,
Your god damn knee’s in my Carotid Artery.

Eminem also takes aim at people who refuse to wear masks during the coronavirus outbreak in the song, which is the first official collaboration between the two rappers.

Eminem raps: “Don’t wanna wear a mask and they’re just scoffing/ And that’s how you end up catching the s**t off ’em/ I just used the same basket as you shopping/ Now I’m in a f***in’ casket from you coughin’ (Damn).
