Deezer shares their year-end list for 2021.
As 2021 is coming to an end, the streaming platform Deezer has unveiled the lists of their top acts this year. In the top male artists, Bad Bunny topped the list, followed by The Weeknd and J Balvin on second and third. Justin Bieber ranked fourth and David Guetta on 5th. Eminem and Drake take 7th and 8th spot, after Ed Sheeran, who placed at number 6.
The Weeknd’s record-breaking album “After Hours” is the most-streamed album of the year, followed by Olivia Rodrigo’s “Sour” and Billie Eilish’s “WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?”. The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights”, the track which is now the new number 1 song on Billboard’s Greatest Songs of All Time on Hot 100 Charts, is the most streamed song on Deezer. Dua is the top female artist of 2021, followed by Billie Eilish and Ariana Grande.

In the UK, the English Singer & Songwriter Ed Sheeran is the top artist of 2021. Eminem is ranked number 2, followed by The Weeknd on third. Deezer has revealed that Eminem is also the top-streamed rapper on their platform globally in 2021. The Detroit Rapper hasn’t released any new album or a major single this year, which makes this achievement more phenomenal.

As of January 2019, Deezer has 73 million licenced music in its catalogue, as well as over 30,000 radio channels, 100 million playlists, 16 million monthly active users, and 7 million premium members. Web, Android, iOS, Windows Mobile, BlackBerry OS, Windows, and MacOS are all supported by the service.
