Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine are honored by Eminem at the 2014 Innovator Awards.
Eminem despises public speaking, yet he broke out of his shell at the Wall Street Journal Magazine’s 2014 Innovator Awards to demonstrate his love and admiration for Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine. Slim Shady flew to New York on Wednesday night (November 5) to make a speech in which he expressed his respect for the two business moguls. Eminem took the stand to honor his Mentor Dr. Dre and Beats Co-Founder Jimmy Lovine for their Entrepreneurship.
“Dre and Jimmy are like a force of nature,” he said in his speech. “As an example of how powerful they are, they had me fly here all the way from Detroit to speak publicly, and I really hate public speaking,” Eminem said.
