Eminem fires back at Rudy Giuliani in a new parody.
Eminem recently made headlines for taking a knee at the Super Bowl Halftime show where he performed with Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent and Mary J. Blige. While the rapper received praise for his performance, the former Mayor of New York City Rudy Giuliani criticized the Detroit MC and suggested him to leave the USA.
The former mayor of New York City and ex-lawyer for Donald Trump recently made an appearance on 77 WABC and made his feelings known about Eminem’s decision to kneel after performing “Lose Yourself.” He was not pleased with this action. During the same rant, he also expressed his disapproval of Snoop Dogg using the N-word and rapping lyrics that he considered anti-police.
“Let’s get right to Eminem taking a knee,” he said. “Why doesn’t he go to another country? I mean, go take a knee someplace else. You know how many cops were defending him and protecting him at that game yesterday? I mean crime is way out of control in Los Angeles.” “He thinks that all happened because everybody loves Eminem? The simple reality is the NFL has made a mockery of law enforcement, particularly with its support for the cop-killing Black Lives Matter.”
Now the whole thing was taken by Stephen Colbert for a new spoof on his The Late Show, where they made a diss track from Eminem for Guiliani over the beat of classic “Lose Yourself”. “Look, his skull’s not hairy / Teeth fake, thrice-ly married,” the lyrics reads. “The leakage on his cheekage is scary / Probably sherry / He’s drunk, but on the surface he looks, well, drunk / He’s not hiding it, hope he doesn’t whip out his junk / Like that one scene / So obscene, he reached for peen.”
The parade of pratfalls only seemed to fuel mock Marshall’s rage as the bit progressed, from of the infamous shot of the formerly Nyc mayor appearing to leak oil from his head to the scene in Borat: Subsequent MovieFilm where he’s resting on a hotel bed catching fish around in his trousers in the presence of an actress portraying a teenager.
“He’s lost grasp of reality/ Whoa, is he having a stroke?/ He found ballots they’re faux,” With a visit at adult toy shop next to the Four Seasons Landscape and a drive-by joke at Giuliani for marrying his cousin, the farce proceeded, flashing pictures of Rudy in full drag. (Regina Peruggi, Giuliani’s first wife, also his second cousin.)
The song’s revamped chorus, which included an imitation Eminem screaming, “You can go screw yourself/ You’re a doofus, you know it/ You bonehead, less ethical Nosferatu/ Told me he’s had one shot/ It smells more like 22/ His cerebellum’s gone into rapid decline/ Douchenozzle!”
Even though Eminem has yet to respond, Colbert and The Late Broadcast staff imagined what a statement from Eminem might look like during The Late Show’s Fake News Alert on Thursday night’s show (Feb. 17).
Even though Eminem received some criticism for the performance, the rapper won an Emmy award along with other performers at the event. The Emmy win was special for the Detroit rapper, as he’s now getting closer to the iconic EGOT status, the achievement of having won all four of the major American entertainment awards. The EGOT includes Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony Award. Eminem is 15 times Grammy Award winner and won an Academy Award in 2003 for the original song “Lose Yourself” from his film “8 Mile”.
