Drake links up with The Weeknd for his birthday party.
It’s OVO XO time. The Weeknd turned 32 this week and the XO star celebrated his birthday with close friends in Las Vegas on Saturday Night. The pictures and footage of the crazy night surface online, which shows the Toronto rap star Drake was also among the guests at the party.
The long time collaborators haven’t been spotted with each other for a long time, and the two squashed their reported beef a few years back. “I was there from day one and I’m grateful not only to be here… with my brothers but just grateful that the family is back together where we belong… from the greatest city in the world,” Drake said on the mic with The Weeknd alongside him.
Drake was joined by a slew of other musicians, including Future, Kaytranada from Montreal, members of Swedish House Mafia, and Simi Khadra from Simi Haze.
Khadra and The Weeknd were photographed “making out like there was no tomorrow” at 2 a.m. that evening, according to TMZ. Cute gossip, to be sure, but it’s those adorable photos of Abel and Aubrey that have fans buzzing as the week begins.
Drake addressed their fractured relationship in his 2019 freestyle “War.” “OVO XO connect up,” Drizzy raps. “And the boy that sound like he sang on Thriller / You know that’s been my ni**a / We just had to fix things, family, 6 things, we can’t split up.”

Future was also spotted at the casino birthday party, as well as producer Kaytranada. In one clip, The Weeknd is also performing his “Dawn FM” track “Out of Time”.

Drake was allegedly present at Kanye West’s recent private listening party in Los Angeles for his upcoming new album ‘DONDA 2,’ while The Weeknd has revealed a new ‘Dawn FM’ TV special that will premiere this weekend on Amazon Prime Video.
