Eminem offers a piece of advice to Drake.
Drake has a lot riding on this. And until a major country singer decides to compete with CLB by releasing album bundles, Drake will undoubtedly achieve yet another #1 album on the charts. But, regardless of what he publishes, he’ll suffer criticism, and Eminem believes that fans will turn on Drake in the same way they did Slim Shady. Eminem is expected to debut at number 3 on Billboard 200 with the new Side B deluxe version of his album “Music To Be Murdered By” with moving less than 100k units in the first week. The project features a lot of name drops and shouts outs which we already covered in the last few days.
Another notable mention was the Canadian rap star Drake, to whom Eminem offers some advice about the future. In the song called “Zeus” which featured White Gold, the Detroit Rapper tells champagnepapi that one day the fans are gonna turn on him too, and the more success he will get, the sooner they will do, just as they did with Chance The Rapper. The lines read as:
“I’ve had a great view to see the game through
And, Drake, they’re gonna turn on you one day too
And the more you win, the sooner they do
They’ll be calling you a trash bin
Sayin’ that your new one isn’t better than your last and
Even if it is, once they start to turn their backs
They ain’t never comin’ back in
They did it to Chance.”
“Zeus” is a song from the album Music To Be Murdered By. On side two, Em apologizes to Rihanna and offers a shot at Tekashi 6ix9ine in his first bar. He did bring up Drizzy’s name, so there’s no limit to name-dropping on the song. Em is a huge fan of Drizzy, and it’s no secret that he adores him.
