Drake Reveals Official Release Date for ICEMAN album.
Drake has finally confirmed the release date for his upcoming album, ICEMAN, and fans won’t have to wait much longer. The project is officially set to be released on Friday, May 15, which ends all speculations and a very unusual rollout that had everyone talking.

The whole thing started in Toronto, where Drizzy put up a massive ice sculpture as part of the album’s promotion. He hinted earlier that the release date was hidden inside and would be revealed once the ice melted. But fans weren’t exactly patient. As soon as word got out, people rushed to the location, trying to break the ice themselves using tools like ice picks and even blow torches. Things took a turn when Twitch streamer Kishka managed to find a blue bag hidden inside the sculpture. Inside that bag was the big reveal, the official ICEMAN release date. That moment quickly went viral and became one of the most talked-about parts of the rollout.
The release date wasn’t just found in the ice… it was officially revealed at Drake’s Toronto mansion, where the streamer headed after discovering the hidden bag. Once there, he was rewarded with a bag of cash by Drake’s team, while Drake himself watched the whole moment unfold from inside his mansion window.

The bag also had a few extra surprises. There was a picture of a white t-shirt with the phrase “2026 will be my year”, along with a blurry selfie of Drake. These small details have already started sparking theories among fans about what the album might be about.

As of now, Drake hasn’t shared much about the album itself. There’s no official tracklist yet, and it’s unclear if more surprises are still hidden in the ice. However, fans already got a taste in 2025 when he dropped a few singles from the project, including “What Did I Miss?”, “Which One” featuring Central Cee, and “Dog House” featuring Yeat and Julia Wolf.
ICEMAN will be Drake’s first solo album since his highly publicised feud with Kendrick Lamar in 2024. In 2025, he also released a collaborative project with PARTYNEXTDOOR titled $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, which featured tracks like “Nokia,” “Gimme a Hug,” and “Somebody Loves Me.”
